How To Pitch A Client As Freelancer in 2023, A Sample Pitch & 5 Pro Tips To Nail It.

As a freelancer, one of the most important skills you can possess is the ability to successfully pitch your services to potential clients. A great pitch can help you land new business and build a steady stream of income. Here are a few tips to help you pitch like a pro:

Understand the client's needs: Before you even begin crafting your pitch, make sure you have a thorough understanding of the client's needs and goals. Research their industry, target audience, and competitors. This information will help you tailor your pitch to their specific needs and demonstrate that you have the expertise to help them achieve their goals.

Communicate your value: When you're pitching a client, it's important to communicate the value you can bring to the table. Highlight your relevant skills, experience, and successes. Share specific examples of how you've helped other clients achieve their goals. This will help the client see the potential return on investment in working with you.

Build a relationship: Pitching to a client is not just about selling your services, it's about building a relationship. Take the time to get to know the client and understand their needs and goals. Show them that you're genuinely interested in helping them succeed. Building a relationship with a client can increase your chances of being hired and also they will refer you to others.

Be prepared: A great pitch requires preparation. Make sure you have all the information you need to make your case. Have a portfolio or samples of your work ready to share. Be ready to answer any questions the client may have. Remember, the more prepared you are, the more confident you'll be when it comes time to pitch.

Be clear and concise: Keep your pitch clear and concise. Avoid using jargon or industry-specific language that the client may not understand. Instead, use simple language and focus on the key benefits of working with you. Be confident, but not arrogant. And remember, the client wants to know what you can do for them, not the other way around.

Follow up: After the pitch, follow up with the client to see if they have any questions or concerns. Keep in touch with them even if they don't hire you immediately. You never know when they may need your services in the future.

Here is a Sample of a good Pitch:

Hey,

I am a copywriter working with the top 1% health and wellness companies (who are truly killing it) and being trained by Russell Brunson.

Honestly, I'm messaging you for selfish reasons..

I am looking to expand my portfolio in health and wellness niche and I want to work with you.

I will write high converting copy and post over these two weeks and you can keep what I write to reuse forever.

I'm being selfish because I want you as my next case study.

I've written emails copies for you that I think can help you reach more people and make more sales.

Let me know if you want to take a look!

Talk soon,

Deen

In Summary,

Research the client: Before reaching out to a potential client, take the time to research their company and industry. This will help you understand their needs and tailor your pitch to their specific requirements.

Personalize your pitch: Every client is different, and a generic pitch is unlikely to capture their attention. Instead, personalize your pitch to the client and their specific needs. Use their name and reference specific details about their company or industry in your pitch.

Showcase your qualifications: As a freelancer, you are your own brand, and it's important to showcase your qualifications and experience. Highlight your relevant skills and experiences and explain how they make you a good fit for the client's project.

Provide examples of your work: One of the best ways to showcase your qualifications is to provide examples of your work. Include links to your portfolio or previous projects that are relevant to the client's project.

Make it easy for the client to understand: The client may not be familiar with the technical aspects of your work, so it's important to make your pitch easy for them to understand.

By following these tips, you can increase your chances of successfully pitching a client and landing new business as a freelancer. Remember, the key is to understand the client's needs, communicate your value, build a relationship, be prepared, be clear and concise, and follow up. With a little bit of effort and a lot of persistence, you can pitch like a pro and grow your freelance business.

Tips To Optimize Your LinkedIn Profile For High Visibility And Impression [2023]

LinkedIn is a powerful professional networking platform that allows individuals to connect with other professionals, build their brand, and find new job opportunities. To make the most of LinkedIn, it's important to have an optimized profile that makes a strong first impression and stands out to potential employers and connections. Here are some tips for effectively optimizing your LinkedIn profile:

Use a professional profile picture: Your profile picture is the first thing people see when they visit your profile, so make sure it's a high-quality, professional headshot. This will help you stand out and make a great first impression.

Write a compelling headline: Your headline is the second most important element of your profile, after your picture. It should be a brief summary of your professional brand and what you have to offer. Make sure to include keywords that are relevant to your industry and the type of job you're looking for.

Write a detailed summary: The summary section of your profile is a great opportunity to tell your professional story and showcase your skills, experiences, and achievements. Make sure to include details about your background, education, and career, as well as any relevant volunteer or extracurricular activities.

Highlight your skills: LinkedIn allows you to include a list of your skills, which helps people find you when they're searching for professionals with specific expertise. Be sure to include a comprehensive list of your skills, and consider asking colleagues and connections to endorse them.

Use keywords: Like any other online platform, LinkedIn uses algorithms to match job seekers with potential employers. Make sure to include relevant keywords in your headline, summary, and skills sections, so that your profile is more likely to show up in search results.

Make use of your experience section: This is the most important part of your profile, which showcases your past experiences, your current position and your responsibilities. Make sure to include all your past job experiences, and include relevant keywords in the job title, company, and job description sections.

Get endorsements and recommendations: Endorsements are a quick way for people to vouch for your skills, and recommendations are more detailed testimonials from people who have worked with you in the past. Both can help boost your credibility and make you more attractive to potential employers.

Be active and engage: LinkedIn is not just a platform to showcase your profile but also to be active and engage with other professionals. By regularly posting updates, joining groups, and commenting on other people's posts, you can expand your network and build your professional brand.

By following these tips, you can effectively optimize your LinkedIn profile and make it more likely that you'll be found by potential employers and connections. Remember to regularly update your profile with new experiences and skills, and to be active and engage on the platform.

Benefits Of Working From Home As A Freelancer

The world of work is constantly evolving, and the rise of freelancing is one of the most significant changes in recent years. Freelancers, also known as independent contractors, are self-employed professionals who offer their services on a project-by-project basis. One of the most significant benefits of freelancing is the ability to work from home. This allows freelancers to enjoy a level of flexibility and autonomy that is not possible for traditional employees.

One of the most obvious benefits of working from home as a freelancer is the ability to save time and money on commuting. Traditional employees often spend hours each day traveling to and from their workplaces, which can be both costly and time-consuming. Freelancers, on the other hand, can work from the comfort of their own homes, which eliminates the need for long commutes. This can also save money on gas, parking, and other transportation costs.

Another benefit of working from home as a freelancer is the ability to create a comfortable and personalized work environment. When working in an office, employees are often stuck in a cubicle or small office with little control over the lighting, temperature, or noise level. Freelancers, on the other hand, can create a workspace that is tailored to their needs and preferences. This can include things like natural light, plants, and comfortable seating.

Working from home as a freelancer also allows for more flexibility in terms of scheduling. Traditional employees are often required to work a set schedule, which may not align with their personal or family obligations. Freelancers, on the other hand, can set their own schedules and work when it is most convenient for them. This can include working early in the morning, late at night, or even on weekends.

Freelancers who work from home also have the ability to create a better work-life balance. When working in an office, it can be difficult to separate work from personal life. This can lead to burnout and stress. Freelancers, on the other hand, can create clear boundaries between work and personal life, which can lead to a more balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.

In addition to the benefits mentioned above, freelancers who work from home also have the opportunity to work with clients from all over the world. This allows freelancers to expand their reach and increase their earning potential. Furthermore, freelancers can work on a wide range of projects and industries, which can keep their work interesting and challenging.

In conclusion, working from home as a freelancer offers a number of benefits that traditional employees do not have access to. These benefits include time and money savings, a comfortable and personalized work environment, and flexibility in scheduling, better work-life balance and the opportunity to work with clients from all over the world. All these benefits make freelancing an increasingly popular choice for people looking to take control of their careers and their lives.

Stay glued to this blog as we will be sharing opportunities about working from home, and also how to maximize those opportunities

 Enjoy Your day Folks.

Upwork vs Fiverr. Which One Is Better? [2023]

When it comes to freelancing, there are many platforms to choose from, but two of the best options currently available are Upwork and Fiverr. Both Fiverr and Upwork are popular platforms for freelancers to find work, but they have different strengths and are geared towards different types of projects and users.

UPWORK

Upwork is a popular platform that connects freelancers with businesses and individuals in need of their skills. It offers a wide range of services, including writing, web development, graphic design, and more. One of the key benefits of Upwork is its large user base, which makes it easy to find jobs and clients. In addition, the platform has a built-in messaging system and a robust feedback system to help ensure that freelancers and clients can communicate effectively.

Upwork, is a more robust platform with a broader range of project types and clients, including large businesses and enterprises. It tends to have a more rigorous screening process for freelancers, which can make it more competitive, but also means that the quality of the talent pool is generally higher.

FIVERR

Fiverr, on the other hand, is a platform that specializes in digital services. It offers a wide range of services, such as graphic design, video production, writing, and more. Fiverr is particularly well-suited for small businesses and individuals looking for quick and affordable solutions. The platform has a user-friendly interface and a great search function to help you find the right freelancer for your project.

Fiverr is known for its user-friendly interface and its focus on more affordable, small-scale projects, such as logo design and content writing. It's a good option for businesses and individuals looking for quick, low-cost solutions to their needs.

CONCLUSION

Both Upwork and Fiverr have their own fees structure. Upwork takes a percentage of freelancer's earning and Fiverr charge the client for the service.

When choosing a freelancing platform, it's important to consider your needs and the types of services you're looking for. Upwork is a great choice if you're looking for a broad range of services and a large user base, while Fiverr is an excellent option for businesses and individuals looking for quick and affordable digital solutions

In conclusion both platforms can be a great way to start freelancing or to hire a freelancer but it's important to check the fees, the service offered and how many freelancers are available for your specific project before making a decision.

Ultimately, the best choice between the two platforms will depend on your specific needs as a freelancer or a client. If you're looking for short-term, low-cost projects, Fiverr might be the best option. If you're looking for high-quality talent to work on more complex or long-term projects, Upwork might be the better choice.

Fiverr sets to change how the world work together, by creating a hub that connects businesses and personal client, referred to as buyers, with freelancers offering different digital services in over 500 categories.

Fiverr has made over 50 million transactions between buyers and freelancers (sellers) within its first 10 years of establishment, at rate of one (1) transaction sealed every 4 seconds averagely, for prices starting from $5 to as high as $10,000 per gig.

Freelancers, also referred to as sellers on Fiverr, actually earns as high $1000 per month, while other earn more.

Registering as a Freelancer (Seller) on Fiverr requires following some stages and steps. As a Top Rated Seller on Fiverr, I put together this article to explain and elaborate on this stages, give pictoral explanations, and also add a few tips on how to make your profile looks professional as possible.

Follow the stages as listed below :-

1. Logon to Fiverr HomePage

Fiverr homepage shows the whole categories of over 500 services that can be rendered of Fiverr, Website Search Box, etc.

MY TIP :- Before proceeding to register on Fiverr, You should check through all the categories of the services, what the existing seller profiles look like, etc. This will give you a fore-knowledge of what you are trying to achieve with your profile. This can be done by clicking on any of these categories at the top task bar

2. Click on the "Become a Seller"

At the top-right corner of the homepage, click on "Become a Seller" icon. A dialogue box to fill in your email to be used will open-up. Here, enter the proposed email address and click on "Continue"

3. Choose Preferred Username and Password.

A dialogue box will Open-up that will require you enter your proposed username and password in allocated boxes respectively. The chosen Username will appear on your profile, and gig. Virtually all thee client you will work with on Fiverr will know you with this name, so choose wisely.

You can also choose a password that is personal to you, and make sure that its not easily guess-able by people (Avoid using your date and year of birth as your passwords).

Note- The password and username must be 8 character, combining numbers and letters both in Upper  and Lower cases.

Click on "Continue" after entering the Username and Password. An activation mail will be sent to the email provided during registration.

MY TIP :- Choose a professional Username. For an instance, If you are a Writer, looking to sell writing service on Fiverr, and your name is Frank, Username like Frank_Writes or Writer_Frank will give a kind secured feeling to the client (seller),  that Frank might be a professional Writer. Same condition also applies if Frank also happens to be into Tech services, Frank_Tech username will be perfect.

4. Activate Your Account

Login to the email you provided while registering on Fiverr, an activation mail would have been sent to the mail. Incase you didn't find the email in your inbox, check your email's spam.

Click on "Activate Your Account". Then your Fiverr account gets activated on Fiverr to be  a Freelancer (Seller).

ULTIMATE TIP :- I usually advice Freelancers who are willing to start working on Fiverr to take out time to read the Fiverr's Terms of Service, this will get you familiars all the do's and don'ts on Fiverr. This is very important as going against any of their TOS may result to your account being banned.

It will be a futile effort to go through the rigorous steps of registering a Fiverr account, and get it banned in few days or weeks.

How to x5 Your Earning on Fiverr Using This Simple Trick

Making $1000 and more dollars on Fiverr on a monthly  basis, requires technicality on how to find your way around your offers. Most times making those figures isn't only about how good you are with the service that you render. As a top rated seller on Fiverr, one major technique I used to improve my earnings is to MAKE OFFERs.

I made a few searches of the Fiverr's marketplace, and i see that quite a lot of sellers dont make offers with their gigs. this single trick is most time the defining factor between seller grossing $2000 per month or more, and sellers that struggles with less than $200 monthly.

As a freelancer who look forward to grossing high figures monthly, you need to define something unique for yourself. Before commencing your steps to make an offer, check existing sellers to know what they are doing.  Although, most existing sellers dont make offer. Hence, makes it easier for you.

I recommend 3 different ways to make your offer:-

1. Craft Your Offer Around the People you Serve - For example, check the following examples..

- I will design your logos

-I will design professional logos for sport teams and clubs.

As a director of a football who is coming to Fiverr to request for the service of a logo designer for his team's branding and logo, which of the above gig titles will you most likely contact?

2. Craft Your Offer Around an Unusual Process

3. Craft Your Offer Around Your Time Frame and Guarantee - For example, check the following two gig titles.

- I will draw your floor plan

-I will draw floor plans in 24hrs or less.

Which of the two gigs do you think will attract more attention?.

Next Step is to STACK YOUR OFFER, Offer Stacking is the secret of many successful sellers on Fiverr. This means combining your offer in a single gig. For example, gig titles like,

- I will write 5 SEO contents in 4 days for $200. Imagine you're lucky to get 5 sales for this gig in a month, that's easy $1000.

Easy, right?

If you consider this article helpful to you, Please share the link to your friends..
